Long form fiction is currently not being updated. Simply because I do not know how to edit. While I teach myself this, slowly and surely, I will also be working to fix The City and finish other LFF projects that need it, specifically Afterwards and Reformation.
The IslandThe island exacts a heavy toll on all who arrive on its shores.
The CityWhere is the city?
AfterwardsSara journeys across the midwest in search of her family, and answers.
ReformationA broken homeland and a hidden truth greets a broken and hidden man.
PiecesMagic has always been a part of history and, apparently, a board game.
About
Sometimes ideas are meant to be bigger than just a five minute read.
I enjoy deep diving into certain things and putting into words what I find, and that's what you'll find here.
These pieces are novella to novel length, and as I wrote most of them to a Nanowrimo standard, that means the lower end of the word count will be about 50,000. There is no upper limit.
I hope - although you really should not quote me on this - to have a completed story once each year.
These are meant to be something more than just a writing practice. This is a more detailed, more complete look at certain ideas. Will this come through? Who knows. While I might be good at writing in the sense I can knock out a lot of words very quickly, I am not good at writing in the sense of telling a total and complete story. Please, bear with me.
